METALON PRODUCTS, a Division of Professional Products of Canada Inc., was founded by Mr. Richard Distefano on January 10, 1982. Mr. Distefano’s mission was to develop, produce and deliver the most effective Anti-wear Friction Fighters on the market, for use in ferrous and non-ferrous metal lubrication environments.
A licensed aircraft mechanic, Mr. Distefano’s background in mechanical and chemical engineering were coupled with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and problem solving. He invested many years into researching and developing a superior line of products to address the issues of heat, friction and wear between mating metal parts. His goal was to create products that did not rely on viscosity, but rather a “mono-molecular wear resistant shield in a solid free liquid formula”. Thus, the METALON family of products was born.
METALON PRODUCTS are manufactured, packaged and shipped from our plant in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
